⁹ And Abram journeyed on, continuing toward ^(A)the ^[a]Negev.

¹⁰ Now there was ^(B)a famine in the land; so Abram went down to Egypt to sojourn there, for the famine was ^(C)severe in the land. ¹¹ And it happened as he drew near to entering Egypt, that he said to Sarai his wife, “Now behold, I know that you are a woman ^(D)beautiful in appearance;
